A talk by Deacon Craig on the Quiet and Powerful Saint: Joseph of Nazareth.

Pope Francis’s short book “on Hope” is a collection of his thoughts given during several general audiences in 2016 and 2017. In this 60 minute talk, Deacon Ray will help us examine what the Holy Father says about Christian Hope, why it is so important for our salvation, and learn how it is different from the world’s limited concept of hope.

COVID-19 is having a devastating effect on our world. It has killed over a million people and crippled world economies. People are frightened and many grieve for those who’ve been lost. We ask, "Where is God in all this?” and "Why has God allowed it to happen?" 

Deacon Ray takes us through the Book of Job where we can learn what Scripture says about loss and suffering in God’s world and God’s response to Job’s demand, “Why, God?"
