ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
Prayer in the Chapel on First Fridays of each month from 8:00am to 8:45pm ending with Benediction. Sign up in the Chapel or Parish Office. Young Adults are encouraged to attend Spirit & Truth for weekly Adoration, as well (see Youth and Young Adults).
BOOKSTORE
provides the community with inspirational and educational resources, as well as gifts and devotional items. Open Sunday mornings after the Masses in the Community Center.
CHRISTIANNAS
An opportunity for the women of Holy Family to gather in support of one another. It is a time to enjoy, relax, and make friends. The evening includes a full meal and a guest speaker with an activity.
COFFEE AND DONUTS
organizes and serves refreshments after the Sunday morning Masses. This provides an opportunity for families to volunteer with a minimal time commitment.
CURSILLO
is a weekend experience bringing personal renewal through a Christ-centered focus. This is a program sponsored by the Diocese of San Jose.
ENCORE AMOUR
nurtures and supports those who are remarried. Our purpose is through various activities, to meet the spiritual, emotional, social and educational needs of our members in order to keep our marriages strong and growing. Contact: Joe Trovato - (408) 295-4793. Visit their website here.
FESTIVAL
is Holy Family’s major fundraising and community building event held in mid-September. Much help is needed with a wide range of tasks.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
Catholic fraternal benefit society dedicated to promoting families, the Church, her priests and religious, and the greater community through charitable works.
LITTLE FLOWERS
A Catholic girls club based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of Catholic Saints, Scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. For young ladies ages 5 years old and up.
MAILING
assists in preparing parish mailings. Any amount of time is appreciated and welcome.
MAINTENANCE
help is always needed to clean up and set up for parish sponsored social events. In addition, those with maintenance skills and abilities are welcome in assisting in the upkeep of the parish buildings and grounds.
MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER
is a weekend experience bringing renewal to marriage relationships through a more loving, Christ-centered communication.
MONEY COUNTERS
assist with counting the Sunday offertory each week after the 9:30 Mass. If you want to volunteer, contact Rosella in the Church office.
MISSION S.J. PRAYER GROUP (CHARISMATIC)
Mission San Jose Community has charismatic prayer meetings at Holy Family.
NEW HORIZONS
provides support for the divorced, separated and widowed. Offers a variety of social activities and events.
NEWCOMERS' ORIENTATION
provides an opportunity to register and become more informed about Parish life. Orientations are held each Sunday morning from 10:45 to 11:30am, except on holiday weekends.
QUILTERS
A group who gather weekly to sew quilts for charitable causes.
SCOUTING
Provides a Catholic environment for the various levels of scouting groups meeting at Holy Family.
THE ROSARY
Meditation prayer in the Chapel every Tuesday at 7:30pm. On the First Saturday of each month the Rosary is prayed for vocations at 9am in the chapel.
TOASTMASTERS
This is a club providing members an opportunity to speak, improve skills and overcome their nervousness.
