ReMembering Church - Coming Home
Faith Formation   >   ReMembering Church

Mission:

Holy Family invites those who are separated from the church for any reason to look again at Christ’s call to them through the Catholic Church, and to return "home". We offer a time for asking questions and discussing those issues that can bring about separation from the church and direction for healing any wounds.

Why one should try this ministry:
This ministry that moves slowly since it is "a matter of the heart" when sharing sensitive issues. We all have some issue from time to time with the church; even ongoing parishioners can attend and ask questions. If one has been away for some time it is a safe place to begin coming back into the church.

Wanted:
If you or someone you know are hurting, feeling lost, empty, or without direction, sometimes talking with another person can help. We listen first when we meet together. You are the most important one present.

Time Offering:
We are on call as you need us. We are available to meet once or twice a month, depending on your need. Usually one hour to an hour and a half is the amount of time needed.

What we do:
We serve anyone who may need further understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church; foster any healing of any separation from the Church, and offer prayer and catechesis necessary.
