Dear Holy Family Parishioners,

What you read in the pages that follow is the result of nearly 18 months of exhausting work by the Long Range Planning Committee, comprised of both staff and parishioner partners, under the leadership of Jayne Gans. They have provided us with a roadmap into the future by bringing together the wisdom and knowledge of our parishioners and our parish staff.

No one plan can seek to accomplish everything; no one plan perfectly expresses the wishes and hopes of every parishioner. However, in light of the goals and objectives of the Pastoral Plan for the Diocese of San Jose, and in light of the particular vision and needs of Holy Family, I am convinced that the 7 chosen areas of focus are consistent with the hopes and dreams of both our parish and our local Church of San Jose.

I am proud, supportive, and enthusiastic that we now have a parish plan to guide the first steps of our parish community as we embark upon the second 100 years of our history.
